| | Descrição | This is the old Broadway Department Store. It was remodeled for the State of California by Swinerton & Walberg. There are three levels of basement parking that have exterior walls with a variety of substrates, structural concrete, brick, block, and tile. The walls have been sandblasted an KOSTER KD 2 Blitz applied to leaking or flowing water areas. When these were corrected, the KOSTER NB 1 Grey was applied. Also the existing on-grade floor slabs have been waterproofed using the KOSTER NB 1 System with a 4” topping slab applied. The KOSTER NB 1 reacted into the existing slab and was then reactivated when the new concrete pour was applied. The crystal growth ties the two slabs together chemically, not just as a passive waterproofing membrane. Approximate area is 10,000 sq. meters plus, (100,000 sq. ft) when completed.
